Huuu, since that whole sparkle seizure of death thing is all over with, ahoy there!
This is Nadine speaking. Or typing. Whatever floats your boat. People close to me always call me "Sasu", so go ahead and call me that if you must. Another common internet name for me (more so for tumblr) is "Cici."
Most of my art doesn't even make it to DA. This all depends on motivation and how bad I think the picture looks when I'm done. I draw my lines traditionally first, ink them, then color digitally. I'm still a traditional artist at heart though. I use a mix of prismacolors and laurentien (very Canadian indeed) when I color traditionally. Once in a while, on rare occasion I will use Touch and Copic brand markers. I have a very simplistic style though, in case that isn't evident through a quick peek in my gallery.
TL; DR: I basically draw traditionally, digitally, and I can also write literature.
My confidence level of all three mentioned medias above are a little below average, but I don't need ass-pats. I need improvement, and that's what this site is here for! I see dA as a sort of developmental workbook where you post your art, and as you go through the years, you'll be able to track your improvement and such.
I'm honest and straight-forward with my opinions. I'm always open for questions, comments, or critiques on my OCs or my art, even if it hasn't been stated so in my works. I sound all scary (gestures subtly to stamp collection) but I'm actually quite approachable.
As for giving critique upon request, the fandom I can provide the most advice on is the Marvel universe. That black hole of a fandom sucked me in and has managed to weigh me down for possibly an eternity. Hence, I recommend you join this group that I am administrating: #Avengers-OC
I'm not going to go through my entire list of fandoms, but try me! I'm good with all sorts of media fandoms, since I'm not just limited to anime. I can bet you that I will at least recognize and recall information about any fandom you could ask about.
I just thought I'd add this in here. My favorite marvel characters are Quicksilver, Cyclops, Magneto, Iron Man, Human Torch, Gambit, and the Punisher. Link me to fantastic art of these characters and you'll have earned my respect and I'll love you forever.
I've also been through a terribly recent bout of drama, so I'm armed and prepared for anything to happen. It's difficult to rub me the wrong way, so don't exercise extreme caution or anything like that. Regardless of what you're here for...
